Concept: Dreams Symbolize Emotions
Many people believe that the emotions we experience in our day-to-day lives manifest in our dreams. For example, dreaming about our teeth falling out can mean that we're experiencing major life changes in our waking state.

Why this color palette? The color palette is based on colors from kid pajamas to further capture the “dream-like” feel.
Why use collage style? I chose to do a collage-style to highlight the “nonsensical,” disjointed feel of dreams. I pulled inspiration from collage-style motion pieces from artists such as Ariel Costa.
How did I come up with the idea to focus on dreams? I first started thinking about how humans experience emotions. After doing a word map, I focused on the idea of children’s bedtime stories showing emotions (happiness, sadness, love, fear). This led to me thinking about dreaming. Once I settled on the concept of dreaming, I decided to feature 10 dream themes.
